OmniNotion | Getting Things Done for Notion
OmniNotion is Getting Things Done template inspired by Omnifocus from Omnigroup. I created it for myself when I decided to move to Notion and was testing different ways to manage my projects. It has all you need to manage To-Dos, Projects in their different life cycle stages and in different contexts.

OmniNotion strictly follows Getting Things Done methodology which relies on Context (ie Home, Office, Phone, Spouse, Boss, etc.) to manage task completion.
OmniNotion comes with pre-populated demo data - few projects and several to-dos. Please walk around, click on things and see how different views represent complete task management process. Once you are familiar - feel free to delete demo data and start over.
Inside you will find familiar pages:
- Inbox - all new to-dos appear here waiting for project AND context to be assigned
- Projects - list of all active projects and actions grouped by projects. This is where you should plan your next actions
- Contexts - each task will have a context associated with it. It could be a person, place, or thing most relevant to completion of a task, or it could represent a mindset most applicable to execution of an action item
- Forecast - helps you see upcoming due dates and schedule actions for future
- Flagged - contains a selection of items marked with Flagged status. Some people use it as “Today” view
- Review - one of key concepts of GTD is regular review of all lists. This view helps to plan regular reviews (every X weeks) as well as to view projects which are due for review
- Completed and Changed - simple list of recently completed and changed items.
The template has gone through extensive testing and design and was optimised for different screen sizes, including mobile phones, tablets and desktop.
